Welcome Director of Marketing

Richard O’Dea has over 24 years of experience in the telecommunication and data communication industries, with a broad range of knowledge in product marketing and business operations. He joined HDTV Electronics Assembly in August 2005. Prior to HDTV, Mr. O’Dea was Vice President of Operations for TelSurf Networks, a Voice Portal start up company. He managed all internal operations, including engineering, marketing, test, tech pubs and customer support while at TelSurf. Mr. O’Dea came to TelSurf from Nortel-Micom where he was the Marketing Product Line Manager. He managed Nortel-MICOM’s Voice/Data integration products, setting product requirements and steering the organization to bring their industry leading products to market. Mr. O’Dea was also responsible for managing Nortel’s manufacturing operations relative to Nortel-Micom products. In addition to these responsibilities, he has held various marketing positions at Zhone Technologies, Spirent Communications, Micom Communications and other organizations in the telecommunications industry. Mr. O’Dea holds a BS in Medical Anesthetics from South Dakota State University.
